What is a Step-On Tour Guide?

The role of a Step-On Guide is to join a group at a designated location and “step on” the coach to provide guided commentary of the sights, locations, and history of a local place. They then leave the group and the company continues on with its itinerary. Step-On Guides are full of knowledge about the area and can help you find the best-kept places and local secrets.

About Our Tours

Tours will depart from and return to the Parke County Visitors Center (401 E Ohio St. Rockville, IN 47872) unless otherwise requested by the client.
Please arrive at the Visitors Center 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
The client is responsible for providing transportation and all incidental costs (park entrance fees, additional on-location tours, etc.)
Booking fee: $50, payable to Parke County Inc. Additional booking fees may apply. Payment is due no later than 30 days before the scheduled tour.
Tour Guide Fees should be paid directly to the tour guide upon completion of the tour.
