Montezuma Railroad Bridge

Hikers & bicyclers, come visit the Montezuma Railroad Bridge. This recently restored bridge was completed thanks to a grant from IDNR, the work of the Parke County Commissioners & eight men who volunteered their time from May to October 2017.

The Parke County Commissioners with The Town of Montezuma received a grant from the IDNR for the purpose of restoring the old B& O Railroad Bridge that crosses the Wabash River at Montezuma, Indiana for use in hiking and biking. It will not be used for motorized vehicles. All funds used will those received through the grant with in kind dollars used from The Town of Montezuma and The Parke County Commissioners. The bridge remains the property of the IDNR.
